Trevor Stoia

Class of 2006 (Bachelor of Arts in Music/Jazz Studies - bass)

Trevor performs with a wide variety of groups. Work with "If You Wannas" touts two self-produced and one studio album and with "Tennessee Hollow" a recording in Nashville with Grammy award-winning producer Lari White. Other groups include the Brevard Philharmonic, the Hendersonville Symphony and the Asheville Jazz Orchestra. He's also an active performer with singer songwriters Miriam Allen and Lyndsay Wojcik. On top of all this, Trevor is currently appprenticing as a bass luthier.

 

UNC Asheville gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to become a well-rounded musician as well as providing an environment to meet future colleagues and collaborators.
